About Me

David Dosunmu is a Communications expert, Project manager and Photographer based in Birmingham, United Kingdom. 

He serves as the Senior Special Assistant on Visual Communication to the Governor of Imo state

He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology (2011), MBA (2018) from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, and obtained a Masters degree in Art and Project management from Birmingham City University (2024)

David’s work confronts various issues that impact the daily lives of Humans such as Identity, gender, culture, migration, social injustice and belief systems. He believes every photograph is witness to a moment, a life, a reality — that a photograph is an opportunity to document and preserve what would otherwise be lost or unknown. 

David’s images captures points of reflection and act to initiate meaningful dialogue regarding the relationship and responsibilities of the individual within the collective.

He is currently the Senior Special Assistant on Visual Communication and the Personal Photographer to the Executive Governor of Imo State,  Nigeria - H.E Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma.

David is presently a Master's student at Birmingham City University, United Kingdom.
